Midwinter gathering

Our final work party of the year saw 12 volunteers gather to plant some new trees, bushes and gorse, and to create a dead wood pile for a wildlife habitat. A lovely morning on the Field.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who work on Wild Maple Field and help make it such a special place for nature. Thanks to Alastair Clark for wonderful warm mulled wine and mince pies, and to Suzanne Clark for regularly baking delicious vegan cakes for the work parties.
